Eclipse Miscellaneous and Program Codes

Please use the attached file at the bottom of the page for eclipse program and miscellaneous codes. 

Warning: Health Funds may use their own derived eclipse codes. So please check your health fund contracts carefully to see if there are any eclipse program codes.

Please note: Scenarios are ordered in Highest Priority to Lowest Priority. If you have program codes listed in service maintenance, charge type and patient category; the service program code will be used.

Scenario 1: Episode Details Screen
You can enter the Eclipse Program Code in the Program Number field.

Scenario 2: Service Code Level (All Health Funds will be expecting the same value)
Reference File Maintenance -> Service Maintenance

Scenario 3: Charge Type Level (Health Funds will be expecting different values)
Reference File Maintenance -> Service Maintenance -> Service Charge Tab

Scenario 4: Patient Category Level (Accommodation based eclipse program codes)
Reference File Maintenance -> Patient Accounts -> Patient Fees -> Patient Category

If you are unsure what code you should be using, it is always best practice to ask the Health Fund as they will make the final decision on whether the claim will be paid or not.
